Welcome to My Portfolio

My name is Egbal Mohamed. I am a proud mother of two beautiful children, who are now on their own adventure through adulthood. On my journey as an educator, I went through all kinds of different learning experiences. In this cloud spot, I will be sharing the learning portfolio of my Instructional Design models.

Skills and Work experiences

My work experiences are combined between the IT field and Education. I've worked over eight years (1999-2007) in various jobs related to the ICT field. Then, since mid-2007 until present, I've been working in the education field. I started as Computer teacher, and after I finished my Masters of Education in Educational Technology, I became a technology coordinator/ instructional designer. Below are some of the jobs I do at Khartoum American School:

• Providing resources for all teachers at the school

• Training new employees on using educational applications such as the Learning Management System (LMS).

• Working with the faculty and helping them to integrate technology into different curriculum areas.

• Leading One-to-One the pilot program

• Leading the One-to-One laptop program implementation at the school now

• Expert in Screen and Video recording using QuickTime Player, Screencasting-OMatic

and Camtasia.

• Expert in transforming various curriculum materials into online lessons and creating

online teaching environment for different educational level

• Experienced with Adobe applications (Adobe Dreamwerver for Web design, Adobe Flash, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign)

• Blended Learning Coordinator for Association of International School in Africa (AISA)

• Represent AISA region in the World Virtual School project (WVS) which created by the USA department of education – Oversea School office
