As we previously learned about different ID models such as ADDIE, Dick and Carey, and UbD, we realized that Effective e-learning allows more participants to access more personalized instruction than traditional classroom-based education. However, achieving these results requires a strong e-learning design. Rapid e-Learning Design (Rapid Prototype) is currently one of the most popular alternative approaches to ADDIE and traditional instructional design. With Rapid Prototyping, the steps are crunched together to reduce the amount of time needed to design and develop training material. Also, the evaluation is done throughout the process. Take a look at the diagram attached here, which shows how the cycle of the Rapid Prototype works.
