A scorecard is one of the tools used to evaluate an online course. It is similar to Rubric, but more like a checklist. In my opinion, it is much easier to evaluate. You can have a score of 1-3, yes or no, or any way that allows evaluating the online course materials. For me, it is similar to the Rubric but much more comfortable to follow and to score. I will be using Scorecard to evaluate my online course as it is much more accurate and straightforward. The Rubric is more suitable for formative assessment or a project included in the online course.
